Americans really are the BBQ experts. The layers of smokey, sweet, sour, spicy and salty that they get into there meat and sauces is amazing. I had a load of left over slow cooked pork and thought! I have to turn this into BBQ Pork with Mac and Cheese. To try and get that smokey flavor I added hickory liquid smoke to my vibrant Chipotle and Ginger BBQ Sauce. It might not have been cooked low and slow on the BBQ, but it certainly taste like it was. So if you have few more months before its BBQ weather, then give this a go.
